On Monday, June 11, the first annual Bob Brown
Invitational will be held at the Country
Club of Billerica. As Bob was a 1959 BMHS graduate, and a member of the BMHS
Athletic
Hall of Fame, we are very excited to be joining forces with the Billerica
Memorial High
School Alumni Association, using proceeds from the event to benefit deserving
graduates.
Within this informational packet you will find everything you need to register
as a golfer,
sponsor the event, and/or donate items to be raffled or auctioned off during the
post
tournament banquet. We know this will be a wonderful, spirited event, and we ask
for your
help to make it a financially successful event as well. Following a fun morning
of friendly
golf competition, we will convene in the banquet hall to enjoy a barbeque dinner
while prizes
are awarded to the top golf teams, raffles are drawn and silent auctions bidding
ensues.
Sponsoring individuals and teams will be recognized by signs on the course as
well as signage
within the hall. With the proceeds generated through your support and
generosity, we, in
conjunction with the BMHS Alumni Association, will be very proud to award
scholarships in
Bob’s name to deserving students graduating from Billerica Memorial High School.
